Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Double Turquoise Ring — Signed ML
$195.00
A beautifully balanced vintage Navajo ring crafted in sterling silver and set with two vivid turquoise cabochons. Compact in scale but rich in detail, this piece carries the quiet confidence of traditional Southwestern silverwork.
The twin stones are hand-set in sawtooth bezels, separated by classic silver drop accents and framed by softly sculpted shoulders stamped with traditional triangular motifs. The silver shows the warmth and subtle irregularity of true hand fabrication, giving the ring character without excess.
The ring features two natural turquoise cabochons with bright sky-blue coloration and subtle natural variation. The stones appear to be genuine Southwestern turquoise, likely from a classic U.S. source such as Kingman or a comparable commercial mine favored by Navajo silversmiths of the era.
The ring is stamped “STERLING” and signed “ML,” a documented Navajo silversmith’s hallmark commonly seen on authentic Southwestern jewelry from the 1970s–1990s. Multiple Navajo artisans are known to have worked under the initials ML, and without additional provenance it is most accurately attributed as Navajo-made rather than to a single named individual.

Jack Gringo says:
Some rings don’t need size or weight to matter — they carry their strength in the hands that made them and the miles they’ve already traveled.
